Deactivate or delete your account
Deactivating is temporary; deleting removes your account after 30 days.
Deactivating hides your profile until you log back in and reactivate the account. Your posts and your data stay saved.
Deleting your account removes it for good. We give you 30 days in case you change your mind: during that time you can cancel the deletion from Settings. After 30 days it can't be recovered.
- 1Go to Settings > Account.
- 2Choose Deactivate account or Delete account.
- 3Confirm with your password.
Tip: Before deleting your account you can download a copy of your data from Settings.
